Follow the steps below to configure the Block List in Groupwise 7.0.

  1. Open Groupwise and find the “Tools” option on the top menu bar. It will open a drop-down menu.block-list-1.PNG
  2. Select the “Junk Mail Handling” option on the drop-down menu. Select it, and a new dialog box will open.block-list-2.PNG
  3. Check to see if all settings are selected. If they are, you may not receive your mail correctly. “Enable Junk List” should be selected. “Enable Junk Mail using personal address book” is not recommended unless you are an experienced user. “Enable Block list” may be selected if you follow the next step.
  4. Open the tab labeled “Block List”. Check carefully for names you do not want blocked. The easiest way to locate addresses you may not want blocked is to look at the “Count” column for numbers higher than two. Do the same procedure for the tab labeled “Junk List”.block-list-3.PNG
  5. The last step is adding addresses to the “Trust List” tab. Click “New”. It will prompt you to add and address. Please add “mssu.edu” and “mymail.mssu.edu”. Use this feature wisely. Any address you “trust” will always be sent to you.block-list-4.PNG
