As an incoming student, there are a couple of things you need to familiarize yourself regarding campus Computer and Network Usage.

The first thing you need to do is obtain your Student ID (SID), PIN, and Email Address. You can acquire these from the MSSU ITS Help Desk about 36 to 48 hours after enrolling depending on the creation queue.

You should then read the Network Use Policy, Computer Use Policy, and Game Console Policy.

After obtaining your account information and reading the policies, learn how to log on to campus equipment here. Once you know what information logs you on, attempt to log on. If you experience difficulties logging on, contact the MSSU ITS Help Desk.

If you plan on bringing a computer to campus with you, ensure that it meets the minimum computer requirements listed here.
