Having trouble logging into your new MyMail student email, here is a step by step walk-through on how to do just that.

1. Log on to http://mail.live.com

2. Type in your username and PIN number. Your username will be your last name and first initial and the numbers 001. Example: Suzy Student’s email would be student-s001@mymail.mssu.edu.

REMEMBER - your PIN number is your password

3. Next you will be directed to the initial Login Page. This will ask for your PIN, your new password and an Alternate Email Address.

4. The most important part of this page is the Alternate Email. If you forget your password, this is where Live will send your reminder. Be sure to use a different, non-mssu email (Such as Yahoo, Gmail, or a different Live or Hotmail account.)

5. After you finish this page, you will be asked to login again.

6. You will be prompted to copy the text.

Your account is now ready to use!
