When financial aid packages are ready for students to review so they can see what they qualify for, the types of aid will be posted in LioNet for students to review. Upon review, you can then choose aid you want and accept/change/etc. (NOTE: Pell grants and other grants are automatically accepted in the system and require no action by you. All student loans are first processed in an offered status so you can decide if you want the loan, and if so the amount you want (you may choose to reduce the amount or many choose not to take loans). You have to go through these steps for loans to be used towards tuition and fees. Note: all first-time borrowers at MSSU are required to complete entrance counseling and promissory notes. As a result, each of these students will have
further requirements before aid can be applied towards their educational costs.

If students are missing anything in order for financial aid to be processed (such as transcripts or tax documents) or to have aid applied towards their tuition and fees (such as promissory notes or entrance counseling), there will be a requirement posted on their LioNet account, indicating to them what action is required on their part. These requirements will automatically update once they are resolved.

Game consoles are allowed in the dorms. However, network access (Xbox Live, PS Network, etc.) with the console is not. This is due to the large amount of bandwidth that is required to allow it. Circumventing the block is not allowed either, and, if caught doing so, can be punishable.
